This site was created in the '90's to fill a gap in the availability of organized information on microcap companies.

Big News! Pink Sheets LLC has launched the OTCQX destined to give the OTCBB and even higher exchanges a run for their money. For some time you have been able to read information on Pink Sheet companies (plus some OTCBB companies) at PinkSheets.com . Now, the Pink Sheets have taken investor disclosure to an entirely new level with their premier quotation, trading and disclosure service.

You will also want to visit The OTC Bulletin Board run by NASDAQ. NASDAQ's site gives a good summary of requirements for inclusion on the OTCBB System. It offers up-to-date news and bulletins plus 15-min. delay stock price data. It has a symbol directory and good navigation.

There are an increasing number of sources of Microcap company information: Online Forums For Micro Cap Stocks.

In 2002 the SEC approved a NASD rule allowing ECNs and ATSs to display their best bid and offer in the OTCBB. GlobeNet was the first ECN to announce that it has a new, automated trading platform for OTCBB stocks, "Bullet-X". Since then it has been bought by Archipelago.
